01/05/2024

You can bring hot and cold drinks in containers with lids and (not greasy or smelly) cold food into the Library.

Blackboard Learn Ultra Survey and Focus Group

25/04/2024

Information Services would like to gather student feedback on the things you like about Blackboard Learn Ultra.

This year is the first academic year of Blackboard Learn Ultra, so your feedback is important for us to assess and improve your experience.

Please complete this short survey: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/aber/blackboard-learn-ultra

Survey respondents will have the chance to win an LED desk lamp.

At the end of the survey, let us know if you would like to be a part of an informal focus group to discuss Blackboard Learn Ultra.

Have your say!

The survey will open on Monday 29th April and close at midnight on Sunday 5th May.

We will be moving staff and student spaces around to create a larger student space and more study spaces in the southwest corner of the library. The new student study area will have views over the town to the sea and will include 6 new group study rooms.

For more details on the changes, including key dates and maps of the areas that will change, please visit our Level E changes webpage

Using the library study rooms

12/04/2024

We know it’s annoying if you want to use a library study room but they’re all booked up.

It’s even more annoying if the room is booked, but no one is using it.

Please cancel your bookings if you no longer need them – email is@aber.ac.uk – and we’ll free the room up for other students.
