Staff wanting an answer phone facility on their phone will need to use
Microsoft Unified Messaging
However if a number is shared by more than one person and so there is not one account that the voicemail can be associated with (like Advisory for example) Hefin has another voicemail facility people can use.
This voicemail service means you can access your messages from any phone on or off campus.
You can log in to your voicemail mailbox using the following numbers:
When accessing your voicemail from another phone you will be asked which mailbox you wish to check. Type in the extension number of the phone you are checking.
You will then be asked for your password. Once you have entered this you will be logged in to your mailbox.

After logging in you will be given the top level menu:

1 New Messages (If you have no new messages 1 will take you to old messages)

You can record three different greetings. Your unavailable message is played when you do not answer or you are not logged into your phone. To set the messages:

to record your busy message which should play when the phone is engaged - doesn't work for Advisory

to record your temporary message - temporarily replaces the normal greeting. When the temporary message is removed, the original greeting will be used again. Use this for changes from normal service so we don't need keep re-recording the unavailable message.
To remove the temporary message:
