How do I request an item from the external store?


  • If an item in Primo is listed as Available at External Store , ensure you have Signed in and click Request .

Click Request for items in External Store

  • Select the copy of the item you want to request. If you need a specific journal issue, you must enter the details here.

Select the item you want to request

  • You must also specify where you want the item to be delivered by choosing the Pickup Location .
  • Click Request .

Once a book is available for collection a notice will be sent, usually via email.

  • To view your requests, click My Account in the top right corner of the screen. Then click Requests .

Click Requests to see the status of your items

  • To cancel your request, click Cancel and then OK .
