If you see the error message This facility is for students only when trying to use the Off campus automatic setup for Halls you must:

find your MAC address ( How do I do that? )
delete your cookies ( How do I do that? )
close your web browser
reopen your web browser
go to https://myaccount.aber.ac.uk/
login with your AU username and password
click on Register your MAC address for use on the University network
