How do I download references from Google Scholar into EndNote?

  • On the Google Scholar page, click Settings
  • Set the Bibliography Manager setting to “Show links to import citations into” and in the menu choose EndNote
  • Click Save
  • In any Google Scholar search result click Import to Endnote

  • A dialogue box will appear: click on Open
  • If prompted, select the EndNote library you want the search result to appear in
  • The search result will appear in the Imported References group
  • Select References, then Show all references to display existing references as well as your new reference
